Learn about electronic proof of delivery

Electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) is available through our Track & Trace system. When you send an item using Special Delivery™ Next Day.  Special Delivery™ 9.00am and also Recorded Signed For™, we can confirm when your item arrives. Within 72 hours of delivery, we will also show you an electronic image of the signature received on delivery. ePod is available for a maximum of 12 months from the date of delivery.


*Proof of Delivery for items posted to the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man are not available via our website. Proof of Delivery for such items can be obtained by using our signature request form or by contacting Customer Services on 08457 00 1200.

An ePOD is the digital copy of the card that we will use to prove delivery of your item. The image you will see is a section of the delivery card, and will include the details of who received the item upon delivery. It will look similar to the image below.

The image usually contains the following information:

  1. The unique Track and Trace reference number relating to your item.
  2. The time of day the item was delivered.
  3. The printed name of the person who received the item.
  4. The signature of the person who received the item.

To obtain a proof of delivery certificate, please contact our customer services by filling in a signature request form and posting it to us. A Recorded Signed For™ proof of delivery certificate via Customer Services costs £2.20. There is no charge for a Special Delivery™ proof of delivery certificate.
